Animal health

One of our services is the primary care and guidance in livestock management for farmers. Local livestock farmers can also contact our animal health assistants for consultations regarding castration, hoof clipping, ear tagging and registration of their farm or any other animal health-related inquiries.

The continued surveillance of our animal health status is very important, considering the potential risk of the introduction of transboundary animal diseases like Foot and Mouth Disease or African Swine Fever. Therefore, effective border control and quarantine measures are vital to prevent the introduction of livestock diseases.

Contact our Animal Health Assistants via +5999 689 1278 on weekdays from 7:30 to 12:00 pm and from 13:30 to 16:00.
