About us
The department of Veterinary Affairs, internationally addressed as Veterinary Services, is an executive department within the Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature. The organization is also designated as the Veterinary Authority of Curaçao.
Vision
To become THE most comprehensive veterinary authority with reference to food safety of products of animal origin, animal health and animal welfare by the year 2030.
Mission
Strive to enhance the implementation of international standards in the areas of food safety, animal health and welfare.
Goal
To translate OIE guidelines and obligations into legislation as an important foundation to safeguard and enhance human and animal health, food safety and animal welfare.
