Export

The export of live animals and products of animal origin from Curaçao requires an International health certificate. In compliance with international standards this certificate must be issued by the Veterinary Authority of Curaçao.

Export of live animals

The international health certificate must be completed by the Veterinary Authority on request of the accredited veterinarian who certifies herd and animal health status, identification and treatments, conducts tests, and records test results for the individual animals being exported as bilaterally agreed with the importing country.

Export of products of animal origin

The issued international health certificate must comply with bilateral agreements made between Curaçao and the importing country. The importing country may have specific certification requirements.
